Watch Jewelry Sustainability Video Presented at 74th Cannes Film Festival July 21, 2021 (0 comments)
Cannes, France--The global fine jewelry and watch industry scored major points with both its drive toward sustainability and its professionalism at the just-concluded 74th Cannes Film Festival, where it presented the Responsible Jewellery Council's (RJC) new video, "Create Beautiful".
According to RJC Executive Director Iris Van der Veken, the video features CEO's from some of the names in the jewellery and watch industry, as well as special interest groups (listed below).
"Together we show that collective action is an accelerant for change," Van der Veken said. "You cannot separate beauty and design from sustainability. And when you ask, ‘how is this made’ and commit to create beautiful things in a beautiful way, you make it possible to live in a better, fairer world – today and for future generations."
