Watches & Wonders Announces Shanghai Event July 28, 2020 (0 comments)
Shanghai, China—Watches & Wonders (formerly SIHH), the invitation-only high-end Swiss watch fair organized by Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie, is launching a Chinese edition this fall.
The new event, also invitation-only, is slated for September 9-13, 2020 at the West Bund Art Center in Shanghai. Exhibiting brands include A. Lange & Söhne, Baume & Mercier, Cartier, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai, Parmigiani Fleurier, Piaget, Purnell, Roger Dubuis, and Vacheron Constantin.
Brands will welcome visitors at pop-up booths inside two halls of the center, and the event will follow strict safety measures, according to the fair’s website.
All the new watches shown in Shanghai also can be seen on the organization's watchesandwonders.com platform. This digital initiative is designed to present the 2020 releases in environments inspired by the booths at the physical event, and to maintain an active link between watchmaking’s various players. An online alternative, it builds on experience and expertise in forging digital connections developed by Watches & Wonders and rolled out last April.
