Weston Jewelers Plans Five-Story Flagship Store on Las Olas Boulevard August 28, 2025 (0 comments)
Fort Lauderdale, FL--Weston Jewelers will open a five-story flagship store on Las Olas Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale in late 2027, according to the South Florida Business Journal. The 40,707-square-foot site at 1117 E. Las Olas Blvd. will include three levels of retail space totaling about 28,000 square feet, a 5,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant, and 7,000 square feet of executive offices.
CEO and co-founder Ed Dikes said the location was chosen because Las Olas Boulevard draws steady foot traffic from affluent residents and tourists. He described the corridor as offering "the ideal combination of demographics, visibility and growth potential to support Weston Jewelers' flagship store success," as reported by the outlet.
The flagship will be far larger than Weston's other stores. Its Weston Town Center shop covers 4,950 square feet, while its Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino location totals 1,728 square feet. Dikes did not disclose current sales per square foot but said the new site is expected to exceed existing performance and align with top benchmarks in luxury retail.
Per the report, the concept pairs jewelry retail with a dining component, following models established by lifestyle brands such as Restoration Hardware and Ralph Lauren. The store will also feature a bridal studio, a service center, and private consultation areas. "The idea to combine a jewelry flagship store with a high-end dining concept originated from a desire to create a unique, immersive luxury experience that goes beyond traditional retail," Dikes told the Business Journal.
Miami-based Arquitectonica is overseeing design, with interiors by Obrist Interior America Inc. of Brooklyn. Construction is being managed by Boca Raton-based Equistone Development Inc., with financing provided by Seacoast Bank.
Weston Jewelers will continue to operate its existing stores. The family-owned business is an authorized Rolex retailer, carrying jewelry and watches from Cartier, Omega, Chopard, and other luxury brands.
