Merrick, NY--An online poll taken by Mashable.com before Thanksgiving asked where readers plan to do their holiday shopping. Of the six options, “mostly online” was the most popular, with 41.76% respondents selecting this choice. (One might infer that these are not the folks who were waiting in line for 3 a.m. Black Friday door-busters.)

20.88% said they will shop “online only” this season. 19.41% chose an equal mix of in-store and online, 8.06% said “mostly in physical stores,” but only 4.4% will eschew online completely and shop only in brick-and-mortar locations.

Finally a 5.49% of respondents checked the “I don’t do holiday shopping,” option, leaving one to wonder whether they’re planning handmade gifts, monetary gifts, or no gifts at all.
