Police in Toronto, Canada, are investigating an alleged murder-for-hire involving two of the city’s highest profile cash-for-gold buyers, reports the Canadian jewelry publication Jewellery Business. Investigators say an employee of one firm allegedly hired a hit man to eliminate the owner of a rival firm. However, reports the magazine, the hired gun had second thoughts and confessed to both the would-be victim and Toronto police.
