Windsor Jewelers’ Rob and Kristin Simon Chair Record-breaking JDRF Fundraiser in Piedmont Triad March 08, 2023 (0 comments)

Winston-Salem, NC--A record $1.8-$1.9 million was raised for JDRF of the Piedmont Triad at a recent event chaired by Rob and Kristin Simon of Windsor Jewelers. The event honored the Hoge family and was attended by over 840 people.

JDRF is the world’s largest nonprofit funder of type 1 diabetes research. Their global program funds more than 500 active research projects worldwide and supports more than 70 clinical trials at one time. The organization aims to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications.

The Simons expressed their gratitude for being able to chair such a successful event. "Kristin and I were honored to Chair this event honoring the Hoge family," said Rob Simmon. "What a wonderful team of volunteers!”

The funds raised will go towards furthering JDRF’s mission to fund research to cure, treat, and prevent type 1 diabetes and its complications.
