Brooklyn, NY--WWAKE, a jewelry brand from Brooklyn established in 2013, is on the lookout for a Fine Jewelry Specialist.
According to a job requirement in Fashionista, the Specialist's role will involve building a relationship between clients and WWAKE. By educating customers about fine jewelry essentials, the Specialist will enable them to curate a unique jewelry collection. This person will support the brand, ensuring remarkable customer service, backing colleagues, and meeting personal sales targets.
Key responsibilities include:
Sales:
- Assure an engaging shopping environment by delivering top-notch service.
- Respond promptly to queries, offering viable solutions.
- Enhance client engagement by introducing diverse product lines via the Kustomer CRM platform.
- Gain proficiency in product offerings, especially diamonds and colored stones.
- Utilize Shopify for sales administration tasks; this includes light data entry.
- Collaborate with the Production Team for timely order delivery and act as a bridge between the Custom and Fine Jewelry Sales Teams.
- Oversee order accuracy, manage shipments, and address shipping-related issues.
- Act autonomously to address client concerns, liaising with management when required.
- Foster consistent communication with clients during product creation.
Clientele:
- Systematically collect customer data and foster enduring client relationships.
- Reach out to clients for product launches and key events, ensuring follow-ups.
- Propagate the brand's CRM initiatives to foster client relations.
Operational Support:
- Oversee daily boutique operations from setup to close.
- Participate in all merchandising tasks and manage inventory activities.
- Oversee the sales kit both offline and via Monday.com.
- Ensure punctual submission of sales documents.
Criteria:
- Minimum of two years in sales; jewelry background highly desirable.
- Willingness to work at the Greenpoint studio with flexible hours.
- Proven sales ability; commission-based experience is an advantage.
- Preferably GIA certified.
- Effective team collaborator with superior communication skills.
- Organized with strong attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for continuous gemological learning.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, Adobe Photoshop, Google Suite, WMS, and Shopify. Passion for fine jewelry is a must.
Compensation Package:
- Base salary: $50,000-$55,000 with added commission.
- Partial contribution to healthcare and 401k.
- Generous PTO and a jewelry allowance.
