Annapolis, MD--Zachary's Jewelers announced the release of "Zach Bear and the Window Necklace," a children's book written by COO Constance Polamalu and illustrated by Nick Nikiforou. The company said the book extends the role of Zach Bear, a gift it has long associated with growing families, into a story for young readers.

According to the jeweler's announcement, the book centers on themes of curiosity, bravery, and helping others. The update said the story is intended to give families another way to connect with the Zach Bear character through shared reading.
The post said Zach Bear has been given for years to mark family milestones and welcome new children. It described the new book as an extension of that tradition and said Nikiforou's illustrations support Polamalu's story with a distinct visual style.
The post also announced a launch and signing event for Zach Bear and the Window Necklace at its Annapolis store on April 19.
