New York, NY--Signet Jewelers has rolled out the Zales jewelry rental service, powered by Rocksbox, which Signet purchased in 2021, to more locations. Launched in May at a few select stores, the Zales x Rocksbox fine jewelry rental service has now reached 50 Zales stores nationwide.

According to a Retail TouchPoint report, the expanded service is aimed at customers preparing for special occasions and weddings, offering a try-before-you-buy experience.

“The Zales x Rocksbox Fine Jewelry Rental program is a milestone launch as we come together with Rocksbox to offer customers a try-before-you-buy rental experience coupled with the fine jewelry that our Statement Maker customers have come to expect from Zales," said Kecia Caffie, President of Zales, as per the report. This rental initiative is part of Zales' strategic effort to enhance its customer shopping experience.

The report noted that the in-store rental service, available by appointment at select Zales locations, showcases an exclusive line of 36 designs in 10K white gold adorned with lab-created diamonds. The line includes necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings.

For 5% of the purchase price, customers can rent jewelry for 14 days, with the option to purchase the rented pieces, applying the rental fee to the purchase price.

Customers can peruse the collection online before their appointment.
