Under the general supervision of the Director, Wholesale Business Development, the Independent Sales Representative is ultimately responsible for identifying opportunities, developing the USA customer base, and fulfilling customer needs in its respective territory.

• Regular travel to different markets and open new accounts, maintain relationships with current accounts (Independent retails and Majors), attend US trade shows.
• Display a keen motivation and ability to develop and grow their accounts while growing the company’s presence in the markets.
• Create and deliver sales presentations that are compelling, accurate, and informative.
• Regularly visit existing accounts to maintain professional business relations.
• Research and cold call to identify potential customers and to find out their needs.
• Stay current with industry trends, monitor competition, and learn merchandising techniques to improve performance.
The ideal candidate should have;
• At least 3 years of experience in diamond or fine jewelry sales in the B2B Sector.
• Experience in traveling on the road and visiting independent, wholesale and major retailers across their territory.
• Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals.
• Great organization and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and selling skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Business development and contacts in high end/luxury boutiques in the United States.
• Possess a passion for finding and selling to new customers.
• Possess a determination to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Authorization to work in the US is required.
