New York, NY--Chanel introduced its inaugural U.S. flagship for fine jewelry and watches on Manhattan's Fifth Avenue.

The design by AD100 architect Peter Marino features a luminous facade of iron and glass with black granite and bronze accents.

According to a report in Architectural Digest, the interior is an homage to Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, blending luxury with details like rock crystal and a black and gold palette.

Noteworthy elements include a Deco-inspired staircase and custom chandeliers crafted in collaboration with Goossens.

Art pieces by Vik Muniz, Louise Nevelson, André Derain, and Y.Z. Kami, reflecting Chanel's art-collecting heritage, adorns the space.

The store offers exclusive jewelry and showcases symbols significant to Chanel, such as her lucky number five and motifs of lions, deer, and camels.
