Indianapolis, IN--Windsor Jewelry opened in 1919, first on Illinois Street before moving to its current spot on Meridian Street near Monument Circle, 13WTHR reports.

Late last year, owners Greg and Lynn Bires announced they would retire at the beginning of 2025. Fernanda Beraldi and Ed Broecker bought Windsor Jewelry earlier this year, saving it from closure, WTHR reports. They temporarily relocated the store while it was undergoing renovations. Now, it’s reopening in the original Meridian storefront with the exact same staff.

Beraldi said owning a jewelry store is something she’s been interested in for quite some time.

“I wanted a place that had a lot of legacy, loyalty, customer loyalty,” she told WTHR.

The renovation includes a resurfacing of the original 1920s era flooring, private design areas for customers to meet and new jewelry lines. She said wanted the inside of the store to feel like a jewelry box.
