14K Gold Leads All Metals For Online Jewelry Searches For Second Year April 08, 2025 (0 comments)
Newport Beach, CA--Exclusive data from jewelry technology company, GemFind, reveals that 14k gold is the most sought-after metal for jewelry, based on website searches.
The digital marketing and website design company based its findings on searches at hundreds of independent jewelers’ websites that it manages.

It’s the second consecutive year that 14k gold was the top metal based on online searches. However, the number of searches has fallen from the prior year, from 57.5% in 2023 to 48.2% in 2024. No reason was given for the decline.
Platinum also saw a slight decline in searches from 9.2% in 2023 to 8.9% in 2024. Silver and all other categories of gold based on karat-weight and color increased from the prior year.
