Evergreen Park, IL--An armed robbery took place at a jewelry store in Evergreen Plaza on Saturday afternoon.

According to a local news report, police officers responded to the robbery call in the afternoon at Kay Jewelers, located at 9656 S. Western Ave.
Per the report, three men entered that establishment with handguns and robbed the store of cash and an unknown amount of jewelry before fleeing in a gray or silver smaller SUV. The suspects got away in an unknown direction.
