Glastonbury, CT--Baribault Jewelers has taken a new step in enhancing customer experience by launching the Lux Digital Vault mobile app in collaboration with Jewelers Mutual Group. This app offers users instant insurance coverage, bridging the gap between technology and luxury jewelry.

In a recent press release, Christina Baribault Ortiz of Baribault Jewelers expressed her enthusiasm regarding the launch. "Using technology to bring everyone closer and enjoy their jewelry collections inside their phone is exactly what our next-gen clients are looking for," she said in the press release, as per a report in Retail Customer Experience.

"It is beyond cool to have a customer open their virtual vault inside our store, giving them peace of mind that they are secured and insured at the moment of purchase if they so choose, and if not, they have an innovative organized way to keep track of their jewelry digitally," Christina added.

The Lux Digital Vault app is a platform where users can interact directly with their jeweler, upload photos of their jewelry pieces, and store essential documents such as receipts, appraisals, and more.

The app dawns at the right time, as the global jewelry insurance sector has grown substantially. As of 2022, the market was valued at USD 4410.78 million. With a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 6.99%, it's projected to reach USD 6615.22 million by 2028.
