Ben Bridge Jeweler Acquires Olympic Manufacturing to Boost Vertical Integration July 16, 2025 (0 comments)
Seattle, WA--Ben Bridge Jeweler has acquired Olympic Manufacturing as part of a strategy to integrate manufacturing operations, according to a report on Jitai Packing.
Lisa Bridge, President and CEO of Ben Bridge Jeweler, said in the report that the company had rarely pursued acquisitions in the past but viewed this as an opportunity to add new skills and capabilities to the business.
Founded in Seattle in 1912, Ben Bridge now operates 34 stores across 11 states. Per the report, bringing Olympic Manufacturing in-house will allow the company to maintain stricter quality control and speed up the turnaround for custom orders.
Olympic Manufacturing, based in Bellevue, Washington, was established in 1975 and has worked with Ben Bridge for many years, handling custom jewelry and repairs. Bridge noted that Olympic had long been a reliable partner, handling much of the company’s repair and custom work, according to the report.
Bridge described her first visit to Olympic’s workshop as impressive, highlighting its cleanliness and organization, and said it seemed like the right team for collaboration.
The report stated that Olympic Manufacturing will remain in its Bellevue location and continue serving other local jewelry retailers. Bridge said Ben Bridge was committed to supporting local jewelers and maintaining Olympic’s existing relationships within the regional jewelry community.
Bridge added that the integration would benefit both companies, allowing Ben Bridge to learn from Olympic’s expertise while offering operational and infrastructure support in return.
