New York, NY--American watchmaker Benrus has reissued a limited edition Type II military dive watch. The new model is now listed on its website.

A report notes that the timepiece is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and is a 'faithful replica' of the original pieces issued to the armed forces several decades ago, in the 70s. The new update, however, features significant, timely additions to improve functionality.
The update now comes with a double domed sapphire crystal for scratch resistance and a depth rating of 300m. There's a sandblasted finish to minimize reflections — essential to keep positions concealed.
The release is limited to 500 pieces and priced on their website for $1,495.
