Owners Barry and Laura Cole joined the effort through the HeART to HeART Art Exhibit & Fundraiser, which features patient-created artwork to benefit the minimally invasive brain surgery program.
LIT Therapy uses a guided laser to target abnormal brain tissue while the patient is in an MRI machine, allowing real-time monitoring. The procedure can reduce pain, shorten recovery times from weeks to days, lower complication risks, and help patients return home sooner, the report noted.
Through August 15, 2025, Bere Jewelers will display the artwork with accompanying photos and patient stories. Additional pieces are on view at Global Grill Tapas Bar and Restaurant on Palafox Street. Visitors can vote for their favorite artwork with a $5 donation per vote. All proceeds will fund LIT Therapy. Voting ends August 15 during the Cat Country Cares for Kids Radiothon, per the report.
