Borsheims Helps Customers Get Their Glam On

Omaha, NE—It was a glam night at Borsheims Fine Jewelry And Gifts last week at its annual Red Carpet Ready event, presented by Borsheims and the organizers of Omaha Fashion Week.

This is the third year for Red Carpet Ready at Borsheims, with the event growing in popularity each year. Hundreds of eager fashionistas arrived at Borsheims last Thursday in their red carpet best, and were treated to tutorials on getting celebrity-worthy hair and makeup, and how to pose for the camera. And, of course, they had fun browsing and buying Borsheims’ great selection of fashion jewelry while enjoying cocktails and hors d’ouvres.

Attendees were able to try on different jewelry and be photographed with it on Borsheims’ red carpet. Kontempo salon did hair and make-up tutorials, and Stephanie Kantis jewelry held a fashion jewelry trunk show. The first 50 people to complete a mobile matching game pairing Borsheims jewelry with models wearing designer outfits won Borsheims gift bags.

Omaha Fashion Week serves as both talent incubator and professional showcase. It will be held August 18-24.
