Hearts On Fire and Stephen Webster Announce Design Collaboration

Las Vegas, NV—Hearts On Fire announces plans for a collaboration with London-based jeweler Stephen Webster (left), marrying the iconic and innovative look of Webster’s designs with Hearts On Fire’s proprietary cut diamonds.

The renowned British designer will design a high-end, all diamond jewelry collection for Hearts On Fire, to be sold in select Hearts On Fire and Stephen Webster retail locations in North America, Europe, and Greater China. Webster also will design a bridal collection as part of the Hearts On Fire collaboration.

“As the Hearts On Fire brand takes on a stronger global footprint, we recognize the importance of elevating our design offering with greater variety in both high-end fashion and bridal,” said Caryl Capeci, CMO of Hearts On Fire. “By partnering with world-class jewelry designers such as Stephen Webster, we are able to expand the breadth of design and offer something completely new to Hearts On Fire fans around the world.”

"We are excited to be working with Hearts On Fire. Today’s global marketplace demands creativity and resources. Over the past 25 years we have strived to bring creative jewelry to a wider audience and are proud of what we have achieved so far. By collaborating with Hearts On Fire we will be able to build on our achievements and be better equipped to expand globally," added Webster.

The debut collection is expected to be unveiled in the first quarter of 2016.

Alex Sepkus Debuts Whimsical Faces At Couture 2015

Las Vegas, NV—Designer Alex Sepkus introduced the newest “inhabitants” of the microscopic world of whimsy he began creating over 30 years ago during the Couture show in Las Vegas.

Sepkus is renowned for his intricate textures and surface designs, created literally through a microscope. The newest examples include handcrafted miniature three-dimensional faces in profile, with motifs that are both ancient and modern. These “inhabitants” of Sepkus’s microscopic jewelry world come to life as pendants, earrings, and rings; all hand-finished in a subtle texture. Much of Sepkus’s work is influenced by literature and nature, with a spirit of whimsy being the core theme throughout. Whimsy and nature took on new form in a series of chains that also debuted at Couture. Chain necklaces and bracelets feature handcrafted links in organic shapes, each a complex miniature sculpture with dimension, texture, and movement.

Despite the strict precision of each work Sepkus creates, his goal to have people embrace the wit, whimsy, and playful nature of his art. “Jewelry shouldn’t be so serious. Have fun with it!” he says. All Alex Sepkus jewelry is handcrafted in his New York City studio. The new collection is available in 18k yellow or rose gold, and palladium.
