Uneek Jewelry Hires New Brand Ambassador 

Los Angeles, CA—Uneek Jewelry has tapped Nicole Vietor (left) as a brand ambassador, to help develop its brand and national accounts. Vietor brings more than 14 years of experience in the jewelry industry to the company. 

A graduate from the University of Southern California, Vietor started her jewelry career in retail at Robbins Brothers, while still attending school. As a million-dollar sales writer, she won the E.E. Robbins Founder's Award, and held the then-largest single sale record at that time. She also became the youngest sales manager in that company’s history. She has also held high level positions with select manufacturers before joining Uneek. 

Prior to her graduation from USC, she was awarded the "Undergrad Entrepreneur of the Year" from Marshall School of Business. 

Nicole brings to wholesale her fresh perspective, concentrating on building client relationships, expanding brand recognition and training development while focusing on product differentiation and delivering an outstanding customer experience, especially when selling side by side with Uneek’s customer retail teams in-store during trunk shows.

VAHAN Celebrates 50 Years

Port Chester, NY—VAHAN Jewelry is preparing to celebrate its golden anniversary. The brand was founded 50 years ago by classically trained French designer Sacha Der Calousdian, who grew the company from a one-man, Manhattan-based studio into a leading American-made jewelry brand. 

The success of VAHAN is owed in no small part to the collaboration between Sacha and his wife, Nathalie, who joined the company in its early years. Sacha’s eye for design and skills as a craftsman, combined with Nathalie’s merchandising expertise, built the brand into one loved by women around the world.

Their tradition continues to shape the work of their sons, Greg and Cedric, who joined the company a decade ago. Today, the brothers work in their separate capacities to build upon the legacy set forth by their parents. Since joining the company, Cedric has expanded the company’s various systems and infrastructure. Greg, now the fourth generation of jewelry designers in the family, has successfully blended his own design sense with the traditional look set forth by Sacha.
