Forevermark Launches Online Trading Platform

Stamford, CT--Forevermark announces the launch of FMX, an online trading platform for buying and selling Forevermark diamonds. Built and operated under contract by Verichannel LLC, the resource is accessible only to Forevermark partners: diamantaires, manufacturers, and jewelers. It is built on the same database that powers Verichannel's other resources and is the second proprietary diamond database Verichannel has built for a private group; the first was AGS Diamond Search, unveiled last year at the American Gem Society Conclave in San Francisco. Verichannel has just signed an agreement to build a proprietary database for a third organization, says marketing director Krista Olson.

FMX uses a search-and-filter functionality, along with individual listing details on the specifics of each diamond. Authorized suppliers can upload diamond inventory lists directly, as well as elect to have their diamonds appear online automatically within a few hours of being graded by the Forevermark Diamond Institute in Antwerp.

Next, Diamatch, patent pending software provided by Verichannel, automatically notifies users when a supplier lists a diamond that matches a buyer's specific request.

The platform will help Forevermark jewelers more efficiently source from the inventories of Forevermark diamantaires, said Charles Stanley, U.S. president of Forevermark.
