Love In The Time Of COVID-19

Los Angeles—As the nation continues to grapple with the coronavirus pandemic, “Love Lives Here,” Simon G. Jewelry’s year-long marketing program, could also be called “Love Eats Here.”

The manufacturer’s program is seeking to not only highlight its 800 retail partners, but to help them help their own communities by also featuring favorite local restaurants in those communities. Restaurants are among the hardest-hit businesses during the pandemic, and Simon G’s program is hoping to be able to help retailers help their fellow local merchants by showing restaurants that would make a great proposal spot as the nation slowly reopens, or even that those would make a perfect background for an Instagram post.

Simon G.’s own website is offering a sneak peek at the campaign, which goes live on social media this week. It features some of its own favorite restaurants in Los Angeles along with jewelry pieces.

Simon G. also will make a matching donation up to $2,500 to Feeding America, which supports a vast network of food banks.
Additional content and an event series is being planned for later this year, said Simon G.

 

Fruchtman Offers Mothers’ Day Video For Jewelers 

Toledo, OH—Fruchtman Marketing has developed a special video that jewelers can use to spur Mother’s Day gift-giving in these challenging times. Although the film doesn’t specifically mention the pandemic situation, its emphasis on mother-appreciation (especially as “boredom-buster”) hints at it yet remains general.

The video can be tagged with the retailer’s name, and is free to Fruchtman clients. Non-clients may purchase it, with customization for $275, as long as they’re not competing in the same media market as a Fruchtman client, says Ellen Fruchtman, agency president.

Gem-Water Introduces Hand Sanitizer; Liquid Pump Dispensers
