Lucerne, Switzerland--Bucherer Fine Jewellery has unveiled its newly refurbished atelier in Lucerne, Switzerland, celebrating the brand’s heritage and commitment to fine craftsmanship. The 8,600-square-foot space, located at Bucherer’s headquarters, has been redesigned to support its artisans while offering an immersive client experience.
According to a WWD report, the atelier is equipped with gem labs and workshops for designers, goldsmiths, gem-setters, and polishers to create unique fine jewelry pieces. Robert Ambord, chief jewelry officer at Bucherer Fine Jewellery, stated in the report that the renovation reflects the brand’s dedication to elevating its high-jewelry standards and providing an inspiring environment for its artisans.
The space includes several showrooms highlighting Bucherer’s jewelry-making expertise. Starting next spring, the atelier will open on an exclusive basis, allowing clients to experience its immersive workshop space, which features Terrazzo flooring, copper-finished workshops, and coordinated furniture for a warm and inviting ambiance.
The atelier’s opening follows significant milestones for Bucherer after its acquisition by Rolex. Over the past year, the brand launched its first retail partnership with Mytheresa and collaborated with Sotheby’s to open a luxury store inside its Zurich flagship.
