Chicago, IL--CD Peacock presented a Tudor Pelagos timepiece to Marcus Stroman, Chicago Cubs Player of the Month for May. The Chicago Jeweler is the Official Watch and Jewelry Partner of the Chicago Cubs.

Each month, the Chicago Cubs select three finalists for the CD Peacock Player of the Month award. Fans have 24 hours to go to the Cubs’ Twitter feed and vote for one of the three players   Once voting closes, the player with the most votes receives an inscribed watch from CD Peacock and is honored on the field before the next home game.

Holtzman Lawrence and Brandon Lawrence, CD Peacock’s director of Digital Marketing, recently presented the Tudor Pelagos to Stroman at Wigley Field prior to a game.

The Tudor Pelagos is a 42mm stainless steel and titanium diving watch, featuring a matte blue ceramic unidirectional rotatable bezel and a matching blue dial with white indices and date at 3 o’clock. The watch is powered by a Tudor Manufacture caliber MT5612 COSC-certified automatic movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.

Equipped with a helium escape valve at 9 o'clock, the Pelagos is waterproof to 500m and includes a titanium bracelet with a folding clasp and safety catch in steel, as well as a bracelet extension system developed and patented by Tudor.
