The Grammy Awards, Jewelry Style
Los Angeles, CA—Dramatic drop earrings and distinctive diamond rings were the key trends in jewelry at the 58th Grammy Awards, held Monday night at the Staples Center here. Music-wise, the big news of the evening was Lady Gaga’s riveting tribute to glam-rock legend David Bowie; the much-anticipated return of vocalist Adele to the performance lineup (rocking 11.5 ctw of radiant cut yellow diamonds in platinum, by Harry Winston); and of course Taylor Swift’s classy smackdown of Kanye West as she accepted the award for Album of the Year for her release of 1989.
Meanwhile, here’s a look at what made news in jewelry:
Country singer Cam (left) wore Doves by Doron Paloma earrings from the “Royal Lapis” collection, set in 18 karat rose gold with diamonds, below:
Recording artist Janelle Monae wore a Le Vian Blackberry Diamonds and Vanilla Diamonds Houndstooth Ring to the Grammys. The night before, Monae wore Le Vian diamond rings and a Noudar diamond ring, and Chrissy Teigen wore two Le Vian rings, a Djula diamond ring and an Antonini diamond ring to the 2016 Pre-Grammy Gala and Salute to Industry Icons honoring Irving Azoff, held Feb. 14 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Also the night before, recording artist Meghan Trainor wore four Le Vian Strawberry Gold, Chocolate and Vanilla Diamonds rings, below. Singer Natasha Bedingfield wore three Le Vian Honey Gold and Vanilla Diamonds bangles, and recording artist Elle King wore four Le Vian Vanilla gold and diamonds rings (including a Chocolate Deco Estate style) and earrings (images at bottom of page).
Ciara (below top) and Selena Gomez both wore Norman Silverman Diamonds. Ciara chose a ring and Selena Gomez, earrings.

Zuri Hall wore a Sethi Couture ring to the Grammy Awards:
Grammy nominee, Kacey Musgraves wore a Forevermark Cluster Cocktail Ring with 4.20 ctw fancy shaped Forevermark diamonds set in platinum.
Also in platinum was Christina Aguilera, wearing four platinum and diamond rings and platinum and diamond stud earrings by Neil Lane at the pre-Grammy Gala on February 14, and Chrissy Teigen, who wore Lorraine Schwartz’s 20-ct. diamond stud earrings in platinum to the Grammy event itself. The boys rocked platinum, too: Philip Sweet wore Neil Lane’s platinum and diamond star lapel pin, and Jimi Westbrook wore Lane’s platinum and black diamond stud set.

Santa Barbara, CA—Elizabeth Banks wore a MeiraT ruby ring to the Virtuosos awards at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival 2016.

Three Actresses in Royal Jewelry
Beverly Hills, CA—Rachel McAdams donned Royal Jewelry rings twice recently: she wore two Royal black and white diamond rings while attending and presenting at this years’ Director’s Guild Awards, and another Royal ring while attending the Oscars Luncheon.
Actress Laura Bell Bundy tagged Royal in her Instagram post as she wore a Royal white gold and yellow diamond ring to the recent American Heart Association event in New York City, where she was honored:

Los Angeles, CA—Singer Beyoncé wore a Yoko London South Sea pearl and diamond ear cuff and two-finger ring (below) to an event for the Heartview Global Foundation in LA. Also celebrating women’s heart health this month was Olivia Culpo, in Borgioni diamond earrings and a Pasquale Bruni diamond ring to the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women Red Dress Collection 2016 Presented By Macy's at The Arc, Skylight at Moynihan Station on February 11 in New York City.
