Centurion Day 1: Oscar Heyman, Lisa Nik, Nanis, Goswarwa, Gumuchian and More February 02, 2025 (0 comments)

Phoenix, AZ--The aisles during the first day of the Centurion Show may have appeared partially full but that was because nearly all the retailers were in exhibitor booths. Several booths were quite crowded with people overflowing into the aisles.
Now in its 24th year, the Centurion Show occupies a unique place in the U.S. jewelry trade show calendar. Luxury retailers, manufacturers, designers and service providers come together in a convivial environment. The show continues to grow as several new exhibitors occupy a lobby area outside the main show floor.

One of them was Annamaria Cammilli, an Italian designer brand that specializes in floral designs in six to eight colors of 18k gold with textured finishes that have the appearance of paper mache. A company representative said it’s been years since the brand exhibited at Centurion, but it now has a full-time salesperson that is expanding the internationally known jeweler in the U.S., which is working. The brand not only appears in jewelry stores but in art galleries as well, where people appreciate the sensuous shapes and expressive designs of the pieces.

Many of the designers specialize in color. Among them is U.S. high jewelry brand, Oscar Heyman, who presented many of their classic designs with rare and unusual colored gems that have carried the family firm to international prominence since its founding in 1912. One of the many highlights was a long meticulously crafted candy-colored necklace made with no fewer than 60 substantial-colored gems--including emeralds, sapphires and rubies--in various shapes and sizes.
[Lisa Nik]
Designer jewelry brand, Lisa Nik, and its founder, Lisa Nikfarjam, also specializes in color gemstone jewels cut into unique shapes and with a contemporary aesthetic.
[Goshwara]
Goshwara and designer, Sweta Jain, uses colored gems to produce contemporary interpretations of classic Indian motifs.
[Gumuchian]
Even a traditionally diamond-focused brand like Gumuchian is adding more color to their jewels with two-stone rings featuring various-colored gems in several shapes and an extremely long necklace. The brand also had a strong collection of diamond jewels with bezel settings.
[Nanis]
As always, there were plenty of Italian jewelry brands exhibiting. Among them was Nanis with its 18k gold jewels that can be worn in many ways. One of its newest pieces is a transformable necklace with large mother-of-pearl beads on one side and textured 18k yellow gold on the other.
[Picchiotti]
Picchiotti unveiled new elaborate diamond-paved snake bracelets along with colorful rings and bracelets with its proprietary “Xpandable” technology which expands and contracts to fit nearly all persons.
[Miseno]
Italian brand, Miseno, presented openworked necklaces and bracelets. Some have geometric designs paved in diamonds while others are crafted with artistic designs.
[Chantecler]
The big, bold, colorful designs inspired by the seaside community of Capri is the hallmark of Chantecler, a more recent addition to Centurion.
[Shah Luxury]
Among diamond jewelry manufacturers there’s Shah Luxury, based in India and New York. The company specializes in producing customized pieces and brands for their retail partners and its Carizza luxury jewelry brand. In addition to these products, the company is using diamonds in creative ways to customize other accessories, like large hats, sunglasses and sneakers.
[Tresor]
Another jewelry brand with roots in India is, Tresor, which presented pieces from its new Symphony collection, featuring delicate, streamlined, flexible pieces in gold and gems.
[Miera T. Designs]
Miera T. Designs, specializes in fashionable jewels in broad price ranges and styles that combine flora with the urban sophistication of New York. They are made to be stackable and interchangeable.
[Marika]
Marika works highly crafted yellow gold with all work done in the company y’s Israeli studio.
