Plano, TX—Sylvie Collection is currently accepting applications for a full-time, mid- to entry-level Graphic Designer to assist with various marketing and advertising projects. The designer must be innovative, detail-oriented, and someone who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment. The ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively are essential to this position, as well as the ability to accept challenging design projects and turn them into something new, high end, clean, revenue driven marketing materials. Primary Location: Plano, TX. Regular salaried employee; work hours M-F 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. 


Essential Job Responsibilities: Responsible for advising and consulting with the marketing team regarding design style, format, web applications and timelines of all graphic projects such as but not limited to:

• Featured images for all blog posts

• Social Media and online PPC Imagery such as Google Ads

• Website graphics such as homepage banners for all social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.)

• Print ads, direct mailers, and e-mail templates for monthly newsletters
• In store signage for retail partners and other various in-store collateral materials
• Diverse projects such as consumer brochures and pricing booklets
• Internal documents and Web applications
• Responsible for liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Design, Marketing, or design-related discipline 

• Entry Level: 0-1 years of experience of active design work for a brand or organization 

• An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial or retail environment
• Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and basic HTML & CSS experience designing for online media such as websites, e-mail, ad banners, landing pages, etc. is preferred but not required 

• Experience with luxury or jewelry brands is preferred but not required 

• Skilled in print production and applications 

• Strong copywriting skills and ability to apply copy to design effectively 

• Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate and work in a fast-paced team environment.
