Alysa Teichman, the second-generation owner of Ylang 23, ventured into the creation of Wildlike amidst the pandemic, locating it approximately three miles south of Ylang 23 in Dallas' Plaza at Preston Center.

According to a report published by The Dallas Morning News, Teichman secured a $1 million small business loan from her Dallas bank to acquire her desired New York location. The Dallas store has an eight-member workforce of four piercers, two stylists, and a managerial staff.

The report noted that the new Wildlike store, set to open later this summer, will be situated at 49 Bond St. in Manhattan's Noho neighborhood. With an area of 1,700 square feet, the store spreads the Dallas location by 500 square feet, incorporating similar curved walls and cutout mirrors.

The report highlighted that the brand's identity creator, Dallas-based Trace Element, is involved in the store's design, with artist Jeff Rogers developing a mixed-media mural for the upcoming outlet.

Teichman, photographed recently during Wildlike’s second anniversary, is spearheading this expansion with the unwavering support of her parents and fellow jewelers, Charles and Joanne Teichman, co-founders of Ylang 23.
