New York, NY--The Apple Watch Ultra has been creating waves, garnering immense popularity since its release at the end of 2022. But what if we told you that this smartwatch could be even more sought-after if it resembled the iconic Rolex Daytona mechanical watch? This new concept has piqued the interest of many, as it combines the classic design of the Rolex Daytona with the cutting-edge technology of the Apple Watch.

The report highlighting the concept stated that while this collaboration may seem like a perfect match for a watch lover, there are concerns about the feasibility of such a project. Apple's attempt to sell the $17,000 solid gold Apple Watch Edition proved to be a failure, and the company currently sells Apple Watches with Hermes bands that fall short of the premium price tag that comes with the Rolex name. However, the intriguing look of the concept cannot be denied, even if the cost may be prohibitive.

The 'Daytona Ultra' proposed design features a circular 1.5-inch Retina display encased in a titanium body with orange accents and a sapphire crystal that adds scratch and 100m water resistance. The concept designer, 4RMD, envisions an Apple S9 chip powering the watch, with 32GB of storage and a 60-hour battery life. The watch would also come equipped with the usual sensors, including crash detection.
