De Beers and GJEPC Partner to Promote Natural Diamonds in India January 14, 2025 (0 comments)

Mumbai, India--De Beers Group and the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) have partnered to promote natural diamonds in India through the Indian Natural Diamond Retailer Alliance (INDRA).

According to Solitaire International, the program offers AI-powered marketing tools, multi-lingual training, and a market intelligence portal to support independent retailers.
Sandrine Conseiller, CEO of De Beers Brands, noted India’s untapped potential, with natural diamonds comprising only 10% of the jewelry market. Vipul Shah, GJEPC Chairman, highlighted the market’s projected growth from $85 billion to $130 billion by 2030, driven by young consumers and demand for diverse jewelry categories.
Retailers can enroll in INDRA starting January 2025 via www.indraonline.in.
