Bloomington, IL--Jack Lewis Jewelers CEO John Carter revealed plans for the company's new custom-built store on the CarterCast podcast, detailing its features and purpose. The new location at 311 Galina Road will open in 2025, replacing the store's 30-year-old space on Eastland Drive.

Speaking on the podcast, Carter explained that the move addresses the business's growth and the need for updated facilities. He described the current store as a "potted plant that's outgrown the pot," highlighting the necessity of a larger space to accommodate staff, merchandise, and an enhanced shopping experience.

The new building, designed by Hune Architecture, draws on prairie-style architecture with slate, stone, and wood. Features include a double-sided fireplace, a bar and lounge area, and a sales floor with 23-foot ceilings to maximize natural light. A rooftop terrace and conference room will also be available for events and community use.

Catalyst Construction is managing the project, scheduled for completion by the summer of 2025. The podcast highlighted Carter's vision of creating a relaxed, luxury shopping environment where customers can browse without purchasing pressure.

Jack Lewis Jewelers will continue operations at its current location until the transition is complete.
