Los Angeles, CA--The Diamond Club West Coast (DCWC), an affiliate of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB), said the Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California (24K Club) will be integrated into the DCWC.

The two organizations say this transition honors the 24K Club’s history while opening the door for its members to access expanded services, resources and global connections through DCWC.

Founded in 1946 and officially recognized as a WFDB affiliate, DCWC is headquartered in downtown Los Angeles within the city’s Jewelry District – the second largest jewelry hub in the United States. With more than 300 members, DCWC is the fastest expanding club within the WFDB, which collectively handles 95% of the world’s mined diamonds. Members include diamond and gemstone dealers, jewelry manufacturers, second-hand jewelers and others with a primary focus on wholesaling to the trade.

As a 501(c)(6) non-profit, DCWC supports members in building and enhancing their businesses. Member benefits include access to synthetic diamond testing equipment, mediation and arbitration services, discounted armored shipping to GIA, an exclusive WhatsApp channel for trade buying and selling, membership events and education and much more.

The Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California was founded in 1944 to promote ethical business practices and strengthen relationships across all sectors of the jewelry industry. The club is known for its Annual Dinner Dance Gala in Los Angeles, while its membership includes retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, designers, appraisers, educators, publishers, service providers and leaders of nationally recognized trade associations.

“We are honored to carry forward its legacy and create even greater opportunities and impact for members by combining the strength, resources and global connectivity of DCWC with the traditions of the 24K Club,” said Kalpesh Jhaveri, DCWC president.

Through this integration, the history and traditions of the 24K Club will continue under the leadership of the DCWC, while its members will benefit from expanded services, stronger industry connections and the global reach of the organization, the DCWC said.

In addition, DCWC has aligned with Jewelers of America (JA), the national trade association for businesses serving the fine jewelry marketplace, to collaborate on events, resources and membership opportunities for the industry community.

To learn more about the DCWC–24K Club integration and how businesses can benefit, members and industry professionals are invited to join a Town Hall Webinar on Thursday, October 16 at 11:00 a.m. PT. Register here.
