Diamonds Direct Debuts First Wisconsin Showroom in Wauwatosa December 12, 2023 (0 comments)
Wauwatosa, WI--Diamonds Direct has launched its first showroom in Mayfair mall. Located at 2600 N. Mayfair Road, the new store occupies a space previously used by Bank Mutual on the ground floor of the Mayfair North Tower. This addition marks the Charlotte, North Carolina-based company's expansion to 28 stores across 16 states in the USA.
Per a report in Biz Times, the retailer's business model enables Diamonds Direct to be involved in every step of the diamond process, from sourcing to cutting and transportation — a strategy that eliminates the need for middlemen, allowing customers to purchase diamonds at prices without the typical retail markup.
The showroom in Wauwatosa has an inventory claimed to rival the combined selection of 30 traditional jewelry stores.
Dovy Klarberg, partner and president south at Diamonds Direct, cited the Milwaukee area's thriving business environment as a key factor in expanding this location.
“We chose southeast Wisconsin as our newest Diamonds Direct location in part because of the burgeoning communities here,” said Klarberg, per the report. “There’s a vibrancy here in Milwaukee that has caught our attention for some time, and we’re excited to bring a luxury experience for our customers and connect both at the store level and within the community.”
The Wauwatosa store offers a range of products, including loose and mounted diamonds, engagement rings, wedding bands, pearls, and fashion jewelry featuring diamonds and gemstones.
The company has also sought permission to trade and accept secondhand precious metals and gems.
Kelly Flahardy, vice president of Diamonds Direct, highlighted in the report their 110% Lifetime Upgrade policy, where customers can trade in their original engagement rings, diamond pendants, or stud earrings for an upgrade, receiving up to 110% of the original value towards a new item.
The Wauwatosa showroom is also set to feature a selection of certified pre-owned timepieces.
