New York, NY--Elana Zajdman has been named head of Strategic Communications and Public Relations at the Natural Diamond Council. Zajdman has spent more than 12 years as an accessories and jewelry editor for top print and digital fashion magazines In Style, Marie Claire and Vogue.com. She is also a current contributor to Only Natural Diamonds, the NDC’s consumer-facing website.

In her new role at the NDC, Zajdman will oversee all press opportunities and bring value and perspective in how NDC communicates its mission, authority, facts and initiatives to media, NDC said in a statement. 

Zajdman’s career is entrenched in the jewelry world and extends to her own passion for designing jewelry. She most recently was living in Paris and has returned to New York for this opportunity.
