According to Local 10 News, surveillance footage identified Nenad Milosevich, 56, as the person who entered the building with D’Amore on the night of the murder. Milosevich, described as a “family friend,” was seen leaving the business around 12:45 a.m. with a bag and a large item covered in a towel.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Milosevich had been involved in a dispute over a $20,000 Rolex watch he still owed money on. Milosevich admitted to hitting D’Amore during the argument and choking him, as stated in the arrest report.
Milosevich then took about 20 pieces of jewelry and unplugged the business’s video recorder, which he later discarded along with the stolen items.
Milosevich has been arrested on second-degree murder charges and remains in custody without bond.
