Man Reportedly Leaves Jewelry Store with $9,500 Rolex January 02, 2025 (0 comments)

Chesapeake, VA--Local police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who stole a Rolex watch valued at $9,500 from a jewelry store in Greenbrier Mall in December.

The report in the Shore NewsNetwork did not identify the store. There are about a dozen jewelry stores in the mall, according to the mall’s website.

On December 12, 2024, at approximately 5:12 p.m., the man entered the store and asked to see the luxury watch. Moments later, he left with the Rolex without paying, according to the report.

Police released a photo of the suspect and are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (1-888-562-5887). Tips can also be submitted online at P3TIPS.COM or through the P3TIPS smartphone app.

Callers remain anonymous and are not required to testify in court. Tips that lead to an arrest or the recovery of stolen property may result in a cash reward of up to $1,500.
