Huntington, NY--Frassanito Jewelers was featured in a Newsday article about continued demand for gold jewelry as prices fluctuate, according to a social media post shared by Jewelers of America.

The article, shown in the shared image, reported that Frassanito Jewelers in Huntington Village has been in business for more than 90 years. Diane Frassanito, identified in the article as co-owner, said sales had not slowed despite volatility in gold prices, as reported by Newsday.
The article also said some customers continue buying gold jewelry for milestone occasions such as engagements and weddings, while others are purchasing, selling or repurposing existing pieces. Newsday further reported that demand for gold jewelry has remained high even as pricing has shifted.
