Authorities said the robbery took place on June 18, 2025. Fremont police said the group used a vehicle to ram the store's front entrance, then entered and smashed glass cases before taking jewelry and leaving in several getaway cars. Two women believed to be employees were seen running into a back room during the incident.

Video released this week by the Department of Justice captured the break-in and the rapid removal of merchandise from shelves and display areas. Police later located one vehicle tied to the group and arrested four suspects. Officers also recovered stolen property from that vehicle, the report said.

The case centers on a large-scale smash-and-grab robbery recorded on the store's security system and later shared publicly by investigators.
