Ft. Lauderdale, FL--The black male suspect pictured asked to see gold chains and bracelets in a mall retail jewelry store.

Several sales associates assisted him at the same time and showed him one gold bracelet.

When the suspect was only being assisted by one sales associate, he asked to compare a second gold bracelet.

When he had the second on his wrist, he ran from the store with both bracelets.

The suspect is described as 25 to 27 years old, 5 feet 11 inches, and 180 lbs.
