Wichita, KS--The black male suspect pictured was in a mall retail jewelry store and said he was shopping for earrings for himself.

He left the store saying he needed to go get money for the earrings.

Upon his return he requested a set of earrings to purchase.

As the sales associate was removing the screw back of the earrings from the display, the suspect grabbed the display and fled with four earring sets. 

The suspect is described as mid 30s, 5 feet and 9 inches, and 200 lbs. If you have information, contact JSA at 212-687-0328 or jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org.

Recommendation: Do not give customers access to entire displays and trays of merchandise.
