Brooklyn, NY—Riva Precision has added paperclip chains to its White Label jewelry offerings made of Fairmined yellow gold. The new styles are added to the manufacturer’s Fairmined gold collection of cable chains.

The Fairmined Gold collection consists of four best-selling styles:

• Rounded-wire paper clip chain with 2.6mm x 5.7mm links (extra small) 
• Flat/squared-edge paper clip chain with 2.6mm x 5.7mm links (extra small) 
• Rounded-wire paper clip chain with 2.9mm x 8.3mm links (small) 
• Flat/squared-edge paper clip chain with 2.9mm x 8.3mm links (small)

These chains are sold by the spool (minimum of 5 feet), although finished sizes are also available: 16-inch necklace, 18-inch necklace, and 20-inch necklace, so far. Finished sizes come with lobster claw clasps and jump rings and tags carrying the FAIRMINED stamp (image) so that the consumer can wear the provenance as a badge of honor in advocating for ethical sourcing and empowering responsible artisanal/small-scale mining.

Riva Precision also is starting to offer Fairmined gold findings, beginning with 9mm and 11mm lobster claw clasps in Fairmined yellow gold, and later this year some time this year, Riva will begin to offer Fairmined gold casting services. The company also will work with designers looking to incorporate Fairmined chains into a collection.
