Carlsbad, CA--The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) presents a live online seminar on "Low-Temperature Heat Treatment in Corundum," scheduled for December 12, 2023, between 10 AM and 12 PM PT.

According to a GIA Community post, the increasing prevalence of low-temperature heat treatment in certain corundum varieties poses a pertinent concern within the gem industry.
