Gismondi 1754 Among Winners at Couture Awards July 06, 2022 (0 comments)
Genova, Italy--Gismondi 1754, won first place in the Couture Awards in Las Vegas. Its one-of-a-Kind “Raggio di Sole” necklace won in the “Diamonds Above $20K” category.
The necklace which features 27.83 carats of white drop-cut diamonds and 16.04 carats of fancy yellow diamonds took more than 600 hours and more than six months to make. It was created with a matching bracelet and earrings.
Massimo Gismondi was inspired by watching the early morning sun rise from behind a mountain peak during COVID isolation. It is his interpretation of the sun’s first rays creating a crown behind the mountain as it begins to light up the sky.
Gismondi 1754 was also a finalist in the “People's Choice” category.
The Couture Awards was held in Las Vegas during the Couture Show in early June.
