Hamra Jewelers Spotlights Calatrava Model With Enamel ‘Southern Brown Kiwi’ Dial December 31, 2025 (0 comments)
Scottsdale, AZ--Hamra Jewelers highlighted the Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 5089, a limited-edition model featuring an engraved and enameled depiction of the Southern Brown Kiwi on its dial, according to the jeweler.

The dial design is inspired by one of the world’s rare circular-shaped postage stamps.
The post stated that the dial combines line engraving, translucent enamel, and two-color miniature enamel painting. Each dial required 12 firings at approximately 750°C during production. The green enameled border and transfer-printed minute scale — reproducing the edges of the original postage stamp — frame the miniature artwork.
The watch features white gold Dauphine-style hands, a white gold case, and a shiny green strap, as per the update. The model was presented at the 2024 Rare Handcrafts Exhibition at the Patek Philippe Salons in Geneva.
