Nanjing, China--U.S. luxury jeweler Harry Winston has expanded its presence in China by opening its first store in Nanjing. This new addition brings the number of Harry Winston stores in China to seven.

As per a report by Fashion Network, the new Harry Winston salon is in the Deji Plaza, a renowned luxury shopping destination in Xinjiekou. Spanning 213 square meters, the store will showcase Harry Winston's jewelry collections and timepieces featuring diamonds and gemstones.

The salon's design draws inspiration from a "private estate," featuring a contemporary ground-level space with the brand's signature navy blue and gold façade. The interior, adorned with a soft grey color palette, is complemented by custom-designed lacquer, antique bronze furniture, and bespoke crystal chandeliers. The New York company's signature black and white starburst motif adds a touch of elegance to the setting.

Per the report, dedicated galleries within the salon highlight Harry Winston's unique high jewelry and wedding day jewels. In celebration of the Nanjing opening, the store also displays a custom artwork that merges signature elements of the Harry Winston brand with Nanjing's cultural symbols. The artwork features two golden lion statues standing before the iconic Winston gates, surrounded by plum blossoms and flying birds.

"We are pleased to announce the opening of our new salon in the prestigious Deji Plaza. While this opening marks our first in Nanjing, it is our seventh location in mainland China," said Nayla Hayek, CEO of Harry Winston, Inc, as per the news report.

"Nanjing is a chief city renowned for its role in research, education, and tourism, and today, we are proud to deepen our roots in a city that is known for its rich history and culture, as we continue to bring the Harry Winston brand to new audiences throughout the country," he added in the report.

Harry Winston currently operates two salons, each in Beijing and Shanghai and one in Shenzhen and Chengdu.
