New York, NY--Direct-to-consumer (DTC) jewelry brand Ring Concierge has announced the appointment of Neda Whitney as its first chief marketing officer (CMO). As per a report by Retail Dive, Whitney will oversee the company's marketing and communications strategy and expand its creative department. This appointment comes as Ring Concierge seeks to grow its business and broaden its reach.

"We are thrilled to welcome Neda, an accomplished marketing executive with an impressive track record in creating innovative marketing moments that engage both millennial audiences and luxury consumers around the world," said Nicole Wegman, CEO and founder of Ring Concierge, per the report. "As Ring Concierge continues to scale as one of the fastest-growing fine jewelry brands in the US, marketing will play an increasingly central role in broadening our reach, appeal, and impact."

Whitney brings over two decades of experience leading marketing teams specializing in fashion, luxury, and tech brands. While at Christie's, she developed a marketing strategy for the region and led its creative, content, and strategy departments. Before that, she served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Client Services at R/GA, a global advertising agency, where she worked with clients such as Tiffany & Co, L’Oréal, Unilever, and Amazon.

Ring Concierge, a privately-owned company, aims to be "one of the largest privately held jewelry brands in the US." The company has reported positive net income since its first year and has never taken outside funding. The DTC jewelry space has seen significant growth in recent years, with Ring Concierge reporting a 104% increase in fine jewelry sales over 2021.

The report noted that as DTC brands mature and seek to scale, many add positions to their C-suites. This trend is evident in companies like Diptyque Americas and Canada Goose, which recently appointed their first CMO and Chief Digital Officer, respectively.
