New York, NY--Global diamantaire Grandview Klein Diamonds has  announced that Ilan Nifco has joined its ranks to manage Operations and will be reporting directly to Moshe Klein, president of Grandview Klein Diamonds (GKD).  Nifco (shown above) will lead a variety of cross-functional areas and departments critical to GKD, external partners, and the company to develop solutions that help its clients across the country achieve their goals.

Nifco started his career in the diamond business at the age of 18 working for a global diamond wholesale company in New York City. He began as a diamond sorter in the single-cut department, but quickly moved into sales. In 2003 Klein hired Nifco to join his sales team, what was then still Julius Klein Diamonds, which led to a successful 7-year relationship. In 2010, Nifco made a choice to pursue his other passion-the culinary industry. He left his love for diamonds behind to start the next chapter of his life. Nifco opened a fast pace healthy style eatery. After a successful 10-year run, COVID hit. During that down time, Nifco had to think about his next move. Over the years, Klein continued to keep in close contact with Nifco in an effort to bring him back into the industry. They recently reconnected and Nifco joined Grandview Klein in January.

Nifco will lead the sales network in training & development. He will also be instrumental in elevating GKDG’s sales onboarding for new associates’ growth and learning in order to develop stronger partners for both current and future clients. Having built client relationships that span 25 years, Nifco is poised to nurture a new attitude and inventiveness that will arm his team with the tools to take ownership in their opportunity to sell the industry’s most pristine diamonds.
