San Francisco, CA—Jennifer Carroll Wilson, a jewelry designer and former board member of Ethical Metalsmiths, has died. Wilson served on the organization’s board from 2016 to 2017, contributing greatly to its growth and success as an organization.

She was very involved with Radical Jewelry Makeover, contributing her time and expertise on that project. “Jennifer was a light for all of us: articulate and focused, determined and professional, and was a great advocate for responsibility in the jewelry industry,” says a statement from the organization.

Wilson stepped away from active participation on the board in 2017, and was focused most recently on landscape design and spending time with her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wilson’s memory to the San Francisco Parks Alliance and San Francisco Museum of Craft and Design.
