French-born Severine Ferrari moved to the United States early in her career, but her French sense of style and romance continues to both influence her editorial vision and voice, and allows her to forecast future design trends before they reach the U.S. market. The founder of Engagement 101, the first multi-media platform dedicated to couples planning their engagement, Ferrari was the 2017 winner of the Women’s Jewelry Association Awards of Excellence in the editorial category. Manon Crespi’s understanding of the allure of luxury developed over her years working as a fashion model and on-air talent. After working for years with international clothing designers and brands, iconic beauty brands, high-end retailers, and fine jewelry designers, she dove deeper into the jewelry industry in 2006, by developing and launching a jewelry collection of her own, with a colleague. Since then, she has provided branding and marketing expertise to jewelry companies until discovering her own true passion of writing about luxury jewelry. Her “Rare & Beautiful” articles are a monthly feature highlighting rare and beautiful jewelry and the designers behind it, can be read on elitetraveler.com.
